In this day and age when the concept of feminine beauty is determined by super thin models on the fashion ramps , it’s not surprising everyone is trying to lose some fat and show off their figure . However, many people don’t want to take the long tedious path to losing fat and instead take a shortcut to achieving results in as short a time as possible . Getting lean has become a big hype has become such a big topic and women are the most affected by it . The topic of losing fast has become so common among women of all ages , whether they are students or office workers.

However many women are often confused between losing weight and losing fat, and the two are very different from each other . Losing weight mostly means losing water from the body as well as muscle weight, which is actually not good for the body . The water lost will come back and your weight can come back on again. To get a lean and healthy look, losing some amount of fat is critical , and this can be difficult. Losing fat without losing muscle will give you a nice, lean look and will help you to be healthy. Not only being healthy, losing fat will make you feel good and give you a renewed sense of confidence.

While finding a fat loss regime that will work for you, always think of ways to tone up your muscles and increase your metabolism – the greater the metabolism, the more weight you can lose. Maintaining a healthy diet goes a long way in losing fat – the ideal diet would incorporate a lot of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables, which keep you going longer. Reducing the quantity of carbohydrates and refined and processed food helps to lower the fat deposit in the cell, thereby assisting in losing fat.

However, to to help along the fat loss , you must maintain good routines in your lifestyle that include physical activities. Physical activities such as brisk walking regularly for 25 to 30 minutes each time help to tone the muscles. Swimming is another excellent option that you can go for . Cardio exercises along with weight training are other good options to lose fat.

Quick Fat Loss Tips

June 4th, 2010 No comments

Here are some quick tips that you can use everyday to help speed up your fat loss and start seeing results.

Remember, they key to any fat loss program is consistency. If you do things for just a few days you can’t expect results. You need to apply these principles into your lifestyle. Once you do that, the fat will melt off and it will stay off.

1) Keep active

You don’t have to bust ass in the gym everyday. Just get in some activity everyday. Even a 20 minute walk at lunchtime will be sufficient. Just don’t make any excuses. Everyone has time for at least 20 minutes of activity everyday.

2) Do Weights/Increase muscle

By building muscle you increase your metabolism and the body’s ability to burn fat. Getting into the gym can be a more difficult task. Alternatively you can get some weights to use at home, or do things like push ups, chinups, situps, free squats. 2-3 times per week is fine. You will feel great too.

3) Smaller Meals 5-6 times per day

Losing fat doesn’t mean you have to eat like a jockey. Just eat smaller portions and eat about 5-6 times per day. Every 2-3 hours. This helps to keep your metabolism burning all day long.

4) Drop the sugars

I am not going to preach, but you need to drop the sugars and processed carbs. At least limit anything like this to before 12pm. After that, keep the meals clean. You will feel better and have more energy.

5) Take a day off each week

I believe this is vital for any fat loss program. Nominate one day each week as your off day. On this day you can eat whatever you want. This tells the body it is not in starvation mode and it also helps make the fat loss easier, by having a cheat day to look forward to.

OK, its not rocket science. Fat loss can be pretty simple, you just need to take some steps and follow through. I will post some sample diets soon.

Body fat is a compound that is required as a concentrated energy source for our muscles. Fat is a storage substance for the body’s extra calories and it fills fat cells in our body. Obesity is simply the result of consuming more calories than are being burned by the body. Losing fat requires very hard work on the part of the person. Several simple things help you in losing fat and getting in shape. Never skip a meal – it only makes you indulge in binge eating. Consume a lot of water, and plan a low-calorie diet. Diet alone is insufficient for losing fat; you require to put in the enough time of exercise, to burn the excess calories. There is no shortcut to losing fat – no pills or diet alone can solve your problem.

Even herbal medicine is not synthetic, it s still a medicine that will cause numerous side effects in you, and you should think twice before you take them too. Myth dictates that when you exercise hard and still eat whenever you want, it does not interfere with your losing fat. This is untrue, and your consumption of excess calories will ensure that you stay the same size, if not gain more weight. Getting in shape requires more than just exercise.

A number of fat loss supplements are available on the market these days, for the person who is desperate for losing fat. Exercise caution while choosing your supplement, and follow a healthy program of diet and exercise to go with your fat burners. There are a number of very revolutionary discoveries in the world of natural ingredients used in fat loss supplements, including Citrus aurantium, 7-Keto, yerba mate, and guarana.

Crash dieting, diet pills, and doing the wrong exercises will definitely get you no benefits in your agenda of losing fat. Stick to healthy food – vegetables, fruits, chicken and fish, for starters, and avoid junk food and fried food. The whole point of trying to lose fat, is to consume fewer calories, so restrict (do not exclude it from your diet) your intake of carbohydrates too. Once you achieve the fruits of your labor of losing weight, giving exercise up is definitely a waste of all your efforts of getting in shape, because you just cannot get rid of fat altogether, regardless of your low-calorie diet and intake of fat loss supplements.
